Hands down, this is the design I’m most pumped to reveal. I’m so excited about this line, I don’t even know where to start. Please hold while I give fake fist bumps to an invisible bench.
Now that we got that out of the way…
OET gave birth in Raleigh, North Carolina, so it is no surprise we’re Carolina Hurricanes fans. If you follow us on Twitter or Facebook, you also know we are a little partial to goalies and we have one of the best in Carolina. Cam Ward is a Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe winner. The All-Star netminder also became the first starting goaltender to win the NHL championship as a rookie since Patrick Roy in 1986. He also has some of the sickest goalie mask art in the game thanks to EYECANDYAIR.
Steve Nash of EYECANDYAIR joined forces with Outer Edge to produce two charity shirts. You can read all about the partnership here. Steve, along with his wife Steph, created this unreal design inspired from Ward’s current mask.
15% of the sales from the Blackbeard Beauty apparel will go to the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. So, you can look good and feel good purchasing this t-shirt or top tank when we launch in the next couple weeks. Enjoy your sneak preview in the meantime kiddies.
Please note EYECANDYAIR retains full trademark rights to this design. The Carolina Hurricanes and Cam Ward do not personally endorse these products. (Although, Ward did give his blessing to EYECANDYAIR for us to use his wicked Blackbeard which will forever be listed in my book of cool moments.)
Ok, boring details out of the way. Later this weekend, we will reveal the Fear the Bear charity tee by EYECANDYAIR which was inspired by Tim Thomas’ mask and will benefit the Tim Thomas Foundation.
Be sure to keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter so you don’t miss the big launch. Check out EYECANDYAIR on Facebook and Twitter while you’re at it. Thanks for the early support and we look forward to working with you!
